​Department of Lands Cloud Transition Business Case Development
December 2016

KDR extends consulting services at the Department of Lands to develop a business case and strategy for transition of the Department’s systems into the cloud.  KDR’s Cloud Transition Framework will continue to provide organisations and business with a cost-effective, pragmatic approach to cloud migrations and transitions.

Perth Children’s Hospital Workflow Testing
December 2016

KDR will undertake additional workflow testing to support the operational readiness of all PCH clinical and non-clinical services.  KDR will extend our existing testing team to encompass integrated workflow testing, including the development of test cases, test results, and driving the defect resolution process.

Department of Local Government and Communities ICT Incident Response Plan

KDR is pleased to confirm a new engagement with the Department of Local Governments and Communities to develop an ICT Incident Response Plan.  KDR’s consulting team will consult with key stakeholders, and assist the Department develop the strategy and plan, and also build incident response operational procedures.

Cloud Transition Assessment
November 2016​

KDR will assess the Department of Lands’ current cloud services and develop a cloud transition plan for the agency.  KDR will leverage our Cloud Transition Framework to provide a comprehensive roadmap for effective management the transition process across three key areas: ongoing risk management; migration of business process; and migration of the technology platform.  KDR will also develop migration and change management strategies for the Department, and develop an overall program plan for transition to the cloud.

Department of Mines and Petroleum Electronic Tenement Register
October 2016

KDR extends an ongoing relationship with DMP to further integrate special act tenements into the Department’s electronic title management system (eMiTS).  KDR will provide J2EE development services to build, test and deploy software integration functionality across WebSphere, JSF and DB2.

KDR extends Perth Children’s Hospital Operational Commissioning services

KDR is pleased to announce a further extension of assistance to PCH in establishing the operational readiness of all PCH clinical and non-clinical services.  KDR’s Testing and Business Analysis teams will drive commissioning activities across a range of solutions and applications for key operational stakeholders.

Water Corporation Spatial Program Management

KDR will continue to provide ongoing program governance and leadership for the Water Corporation’s Spatial Program Management framework.  KDR will assist the Water Corporation further develop and extend the delivery strategy for spatial solutions, and provide Program and Project Management services across a range of spatial projects.

Business Case for Project and Portfolio Management at the Water Corporation

KDR will assist the Water Corporation evaluate the business case for optimising CA’s Clarity Project and Portfolio Management solution.  Key objectives are to develop a business case and roadmap for enhanced CA Clarity functionality, and to advise on project office, demand management, support, architecture and executive reporting requirements.

KDR selected for additional Project Management services at the Department of Local Government and Communities

KDR will provide project management services for the Department’s Grants Management System and Microsoft Office 365 implementation projects.  KDR’s scope of work includes consulting with key business stakeholders, reviewing project scope and requirements, and developing an implementation plan along with related documents and procedures.

Department of Commerce EnergySafety Java Development project

KDR extends our relationship with the Department of Commerce to provide additional Java Analysis and Development services for the Department’s EnergySafety division.  KDR will work on a number of application systems, including mobile compliance solutions, and enhancements to the existing eNotice application for the electronic provision of electrical and gas fitting work notices.

HBF Enterprise Core Application Support

KDR has been selected by HBF to undertake support for a number of Enterprise Core Applications.  KDR will assist HBF by supporting and developing system modifications and enhancements to core backend customer support and insurance technologies.

Department of Mines and Petroleum Electronic Tenement Register

KDR attributes further success at DMP to our goal of developing pragmatic, cost effective and achievable IT solutions which reduce complexity and enable business improvement.  KDR will extend its relationship with DMP to support integration between the Electronic Tenement Register and Enterprise Party Data.  This will include facilitating integration of additional government agencies, improving system performance, and providing new functionality to allow customers to be merged and unmerged within the solution.

Grants Management Solution for the Department of Sport and Recreation

Following on from earlier KDR business analysis, KDR will assist the Department of Sport and Recreation progress toward a comprehensive Grants Management System.  KDR will conduct additional business analysis activities to finalise the business and technical requirements, and to further define the system boundaries and functional components.

KDR Supports CA Clarity PPM at HBF
June 2016​

KDR sees further success leveraging our strategic partnership with CA Technologies to support CA Clarity PPM at HBF Health.  CA Technologies' leading project and portfolio management solution is deployed by HBF to support Project Management Office functions across the full portfolio of IT projects.  KDR will implement a number of productivity improvements to assist HBF achieve greater value from their investment in the CA Clarity PPM technology.  The enhancements are expected to result in improved PMO, Project Manager and Resource Manager productivity, in addition to more effective and timelier reporting.

City of Swan Business Intelligence Services

KDR selected by the City of Swan to provide ongoing Business Intelligence Services.  KDR will undertake a number of business intelligence activities, including designing and developing Swan’s business intelligence applications, assisting with capacity planning for existing and proposed business intelligence applications, and developing pragmatic solutions to address corporate business intelligence KPIs.

KDR will also provide ongoing Business Analysis services to assist with the assessment and planning of ICT commissioning activities for individual PCH services and locations.  Key activities include the development of Solution Briefs, liaison and communication with stakeholders, managing and monitoring fulfilment requests, and defining and confirming training requirements.

CA Clarity PPM Services at the Department of Agriculture and Food

KDR leverages a new strategic partnership with CA Technologies to deliver CA Clarity PPM services at the Department of Agriculture and Food.  CA Clarity PPM is one of the world’s leading project and portfolio management solutions, and is deployed as the Department’s enterprise-wide Project Management Information System.  KDR will provide Clarity maintenance and extended support services, including system enhancements and project work as required.  The scope of work will include supporting core Clarity functionality, and also interfacing between Clarity and the Department’s HR, Finance and Document Management systems.

Department of Commerce Business Analyst and Solutions Architecture Services

KDR has been selected to provide technical business analyst and solution architecture services for the Department of Commerce.  Key activities will focus on the integration of the Department’s electronic document and records management solution with existing core business systems, including producing requirements definition documents and artefacts, and defining Web Services interfaces for third-party systems.  KDR will leverage our extensive expertise designing practical solutions which deliver genuine business value.

WA Police Business Analysis

KDR has been selected to provide Business Analysis Services to WA Police.  KDR will assist with the online forms rationalisation project, which will result in the provision of a common, agency-wide platform for under-user creation and maintenance of forms.  The project will leverage KDR’s expertise in pragmatic, outcome focussed system analysis and design to streamline workflows, consolidate disparate platforms and eliminate printing of paper forms.

KDR selected for key Perth Children’s Hospital Operational Commissioning Project

As the commissioning of the new Perth Children’s Hospital (PCH) approaches its final, most important phase, KDR has been selected to assist PCH establish the operational readiness of all PCH clinical and non-clinical services.  Operational commissioning will enable the move from Princess Margaret Hospital to PCH and the go-live of the new hospital.  Key activities include overseeing and managing a team of operational commissioning ICT managers, liaising with operational readiness work stream leads to assess, plan and agree ICT commissioning schedules for individual PCH services and locations, coordinating transition and go-live activities, and then managing post-commissioning stabilisation and support.

Java Development at the Department of Commerce

The Department of Commerce plays a key role in facilitating a productive, innovative, fair and safe business environment in Western Australia, and is currently undertaking a project to enhance the ongoing management of Associations and Charitable Organisations.  KDR will provide Java Development Services to design, develop and implement functional changes for improved business efficiency, and to comply with recent legislative changes.  Key activities include the delivery of software and system enhancements using J2EE, CSS and DHTML.
