Damien began his career in the IT industry in 1992, after graduating from the University of Western Australia with a double major Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Information Technology.
Having since spent over 27 years in WA’s IT industry, he has an acute appreciation of the role IT plays in government and commercial organisations.
During the course of his career, Damien has held IT management positions in public and private sector organisations. He has expertise in strategic consulting services, development and delivery services, and has built lasting relationships with his clients, peers and suppliers across WA.
On weekends Damien is an active dad who loves watching and supporting his kids in their sporting endeavours. He enjoys giving back to the community and has been a volunteer at the Southside Penrhos Wesley Swimming Club. He’s also coached junior cricket at the South Perth Cricket Club for many summers.
Damien is a huge fan of the North Melbourne Football Club, and in winter you will find him attending any games the Kangaroos play in Perth. In summer, he spends his weekends sitting beside a cricket ground watching as many games as he can.
When possible, Damien also likes to dabble in new technology and is currently teaching himself cross platform development with Flutter and Dart.
